I would imagine that traction is inherently hard to find on a FWD car with that kind of power.

yeah, it probably could run circles around me with all that torque steer

honestly though, if i had the money to make a car like that, i would swap the drivetrain and convert it to rwd or awd. i drive a fwd car and an awd car (both turbo dsm's) and it is just night and day between them. i would never ever willingly make a performance car on a fwd platform. thats just silly. with all the wheelspin off the line, it HAS to make a lot of power to be able to catch up to a rwd or awd launch. the laws of acceleration are constantly pulling up on the front wheels proventing you from getting traction. plus, i'll bet that thing cant turn worth a damn either. (obviously) but seriously, if you plug enough money into anything, it will have a lot of hp, but that doesnt automatically make it practical. from a technical standpoint, thats a lot of power comming from a tiny little engine, but it is front wheel drive! i have yet to really see any arguement that says fwd is better for anything from a performance standpoint.

</2 cents>

A stock S2000 isn't practical either.

well practical for what? for racing its great. light, nimble, agile, very good suspension, rwd, high-rev power, etc.
