Default 5th Gen Prelude or Integra GS-R?

I was wondering what would be faster, better on the track, and daily driving?

My '96 GS-R has 150,000 miles and is still going strong. I used to track the car too. Great little car. Smaller and lighter than the Lude, IMHO.

Performance wise a Prelude is more comparable to an Integra Type R than a GSR. For daily driving the extra torque of the Prelude makes it easier to drive. The hatchback of the GSR makes it a little more practical to haul larger items. You really should go and drive both and see which you like better. I have had my Prelude for 5 years now and have recently converted it to a full race car. It is faster than any stock S2000 on a track and keeps up with most stock Vettes as well.

I prefer driving the Prelude, but the trunk is really small. If it is going to be your only car, I would suggets the hatchback due to practicality alone.

I like the look of the Prelude, but hate its fuel economy... I have a friend with a '95 GS-R, and those seats are not as comfy as my '91 Celica.... Well thanks for the advice, I should go test drive both of them to fully get the feel of it. You guys know any sites about Preludes?

Prelude.

Better engine, better handling, more refined (by FAR), and better looking. The only thing the GSR has over the prelude is agility.

I dont know what all you have been smoking but a gsr seems much more nimble, lighter and will pull on a stock prelude. At least those are my experiences. The h22a is a shitty engine IMO. If you want to put forged pistons in the block you will have to resleeve the block due to the coating that is on the walls of the block. The performance parts for the h22a are also much more expensive. The r/s ratio is also nowhere close to as good as the r/s ratio on a b18c1

Prelude, because it looks better. Also a much higher rate of theft for GSRs

Well i guess im biased sence i own 99 gsr...but ive driven both and i can tell u that the integra is a better car in all aspects except for comfort. Just look at the facts how may preludes do u see running 10 second 1/4 mile times or winning the speedvision cup repeatitly. Just some advice pick the winner get the integra.

Check out this very good comparison test back in '99.

My favorite quote

"The Prelude is the best Integra ever made."
