If Honda is partnering up with Mugen for actual US cars, this would be an interesting development (much like AMG with Mercedes). Certainly a step in the right direction. But until Honda shoehorns an actual V8 into a US production car, it's still just rumors, hearsay, and useless exercises. If Honda won't release, maybe Mugen will anyway. I'm sure King Motorsports will be happy to sell you a Mugen Legend.

Well, it looks good. The front fender vents are overdone though, so those need to be dropped.

Maybe Honda really is ready to take Lexus on front and center.

I like the 8 intake funnels best. Very smart styling idea, and it immediately draws attention to Honda's F1 racing program.

Wow if that engine goes into a production car that would be so sweet. I wonder if it burns pump fuel though?

Please make an AWD TL like that! It'll be much better looking because I personally think the TL is much better looking than the RL.

that's the spec for their racing version of that motor. obviously, that exact motor will not pass emissions or be reliable enough to undergo at least 100K miles for a production car. although i'm just speculating, but realistically, a production version of that motor would be closer to 500hp with an 8700rpm redline. and that's just being optimistic. i wouldn't be surprised to find a possible U.S. version with 485hp and 8400rpm redline...or less...

But VTEC_Junkie is right, if (big if) that motor ever makes production, it'll probably be closer to 450hp - 485hp. But putting that in the next NSX (if there is one) would be a god-send

Mugen Honda Legend: 590hp / 4 litres = 147.5hp/litre !!!
