500hp/525lbs srt-10 dodge ram!
i saw this i'm a mustang mag.... this is coming into production!!!!!
the stats are unbeliveable!!!
500 hp/ 525 lbs viper v10 engine
base price: 45k!!!!!!!!!!!!
now heres where it is confusing.....it is a single cab, 6 foot bed... so it doesn't weigh much.. it didn't say the weight exactly though.....but the weird part is the 1/4 mile time...13.8 est. where did they come up with that number??? it doesn't weigh hardly anything and has all that power!!!! there is no way my s2k should run anywhere close to this thing. the article wasn't all that inforative so if anyone else know more about this truck chime in but for 45k , i'm getting one.

Just a pound or two more than the S2000 with twice the HP. It should be a 10 second truck no doubt.

apparently its somewhat heavy......also, speedshifting is kind of not possible with the long throw of a truck shifter, so that probably shaves some time off of the 1/4 mile.

I doubt it...besides, there's something alluring about having a truck with a bulge ont he hood that says "Viper Powered". The F150's charge cooling system is supposed to be pretty trick, though. I still don't understand why these truck exist in such excess, but it's really fvcking awesome excess.

Between the new Lightning and Ram SRT-10, I'd have to go with the Ram for the six-speed and HUGE Viper motor.
That would be fun to drive around!!

Haha. A pickup truck with all that power! If there's anything being hauled in the bed, its going to fly out when you hit the gas! Is there traction control? I would imagine there's not a lot of weight over the rear wheels.
