Here's some info on the new BMW 760Li Sedan.
  • DOHC 48-valve (4-cam) V-12
  • Horsepower: 438 @ 6000
  • Torque: 444 @ 3950
  • 0 - 60 in 5.4 seconds







What a freakin' BEAST! Makes me wish I owned some squanky factory with BILLIONS!!!

it's nice, but it will always behind the supercharge AMG S55, and Turbocharge S600 on the autobann....

Man, those behemoths don't need to go that fast - especially a barge (sorry, I just think the new 7-series is an abomination) that weighs in excess of 2 metric tons. Plus, it would give the S2K a good run for its money acceleration-wise.

For that price I could have the same S55 with 493 hp, and 516 lb.-ft. of torque. or a bit more a S600 with 493 hp, and 590 lb.ft-torque. BMW is clearly falling behind in STYLING (Thank You Chris Bangle) and performance NA or not. The difference in hp (+ 55 in both S55 + S600) and torque (+68 in S55 & +146 in the S600) easily make the 760Li look dumb.

latest CAR mag... they preferred not only the power output of the s600 over this thing... but they also liked the benz's handling dynamics over this ugly sack of schmidt.

either way, you want to look like a baller... get a big german sedan rollin on dubs and you're pretty much there. just make sure you got a couple sets of healthy silicon in the back seats.
