3M whole car?
I was wondering if you could 3M the entire car. Because whats the point of just doing 4 inchs of the hood and only the front bumper and mirrors. Why not the whole entire car, it might cost a lot but it will save you more at the end if you wanna sell the car. When the 3M is on the car you can't really tell it is on till you see the end line. If the whole car was 3M'd it would look the same. I don't know I was just thinking cuz my friend has his front end 3M'd but the middle to top of his hood after the 3m is all rock chips.

You could but why? It's very expensive to do the entire car...let alone there aren't templates for the entire car so that means it'll have to be custom.
I have the entire front 3M'd on my Evo. I don't see the need to cover up the entire car. Even though the clear protector is transparent you still know it's there. It's not exactly invisible. With about a year and half on my 3M film it's gotten a little dull over time. It just doesn't look good as the rest of the car imho.

Paint is used to protect the car, 3M is used to protect the paint, and its only needed on the front as that's where the most damage from driving occurs.
