Are these two cars basically identically or is the Nissan more performance orientated. I don't like the exaggerated cartoony look of the Nissan but may consider it if it offers a more spirited drive. I personally think the G35 is a more handsome car.
Have not ruled out the possibility of the S2000, just exploring my options
Thanks in advance.

I had read that the G35 coupe uses a less sporty suspension. It is also about 200 lbs heavier. Last, to get the MT, price climbs above the better value Z models (though it is well appointed). On the positive (to me), it has a sunroof option. While I'd opt for the Z, I do think this is an impressive, and probably better real-world package.

Uhhh....Greddy already has a WORKING Z33 TWINTURBO, w/Intercooler. No new internals needed as of now. Check it out, it was at SEMA, or go to my350z.com As for Mag racers, I know how most of the people here feel about it and I agree. When we start seeing G35 Coupes pulling better numbers at Auto-X and the like I will believe it's better handeling. Don't get me wrong they are very sweet cars, awesome, but are very different in looks and demographic. Also to get the 18", Brembo installed 6-Speed it is more then the track, like 36K I think....

Given the 7hp deficit and increased weight of the G35 coupe, I would think the 350Z would walk away from it.
But for the increased practicality and nicer looking tail end, I would get the G35 coupe. Oh, and lets not forget about the benefits of Infiniti's customer service.
