350Z vs Crossfire
No I'm not in the market, but I just wanted to see what you'd like better.
The 350Z has a power advantage, but on the other hand, braking and skidpad are about even with a slight edge to the Crossfire. And the Crossfire is about 300 lbs lighter.
Looks are subjective, but the Z is a year old and no longer the talk of the town. The Crossfire will stop people in their tracks at least until they are lined up on the dealers lots like any other Chrysler.

I think the Crossfire is ugly and don't think the look will remain as timeless for even those that do like it. I also will not believe Chrysler can build a good car until it has been out for a few years and is proven by reliability, appeal over time, and resale. Yes, you will see yourself at every stop light with the Z, but unless the Crossfire is something more than what I have seen and heard the decision would be a no-brainer for me...another S2000. Check out the Volkswagen concept car for something that may be interesting down the road.

Crossfire is a cool car, a redesigned old-style SLK Mercedes. I think it's an okay value with the Benz 3.2 V6, the interior looks nice and it seems to handle and run pretty well overall.
That said, I'd probably go with the 350Z.

Damn, chrysler is in trouble if most people feel the same way. Also they don't have an entry level Crossfire like the Z has.
I picked the Z also but I like them both but not as much as a S2000 coupe if they'd ever make one.

Personally, I wouldn't buy either. However, BOTH cars look just plain GOOFY! The Z looks goofy in a negative, mass produced, sterile sort of way (to me). The Crossfire looks goofy but in a unique way. If you put a gun to my head and made me pick, I'd choose "unique" goofy.

So funny, i was just at the Jeep dealer this morning looking at the crossfire. I have seen a few on the streets and wanted to see it up close. WOW. I luv it. I think the lines and design of the extrerior is gorgeous. Much much nicer than the Z. Personally, i thin the g35 coupe is also much nicer then the Z.
Here is the kicker, the crossfire is put together in germany. Only 1% of parts are from the US. Basically, its a SLK with a chrysler designed body. Which IMO, is about the only good thing about chrysler, their designs. They are also bringing a very limited number of these so they will not be that common.
Im trying to convince to my mom to buy one. Unfortunately, the chrysler badge gets no love from moms
