I had an '03 Track for about 1.5 years prior to my '05 S2000. It was a pretty fun car, but I enjoy the s2000 a lot more. Enjoy the Z!

Why have 2 cars that are so similar (and similarly impractical)?

Probably because Nissan has been making meaningful changes to the 350z while our s2000s..... not so much.

I don't understand that argument... If the Yugo were still around but went through a lot of changes year to year, but was still a crappy car - would that mean it's a good car to buy? Not that I'm saying the Z is a bad car, but just because the '08 model is different from the '03 model means it's something good to buy? Now, I could see wanting to upgrade from an '03 to an '08, but saying the Z has an advantage over the S because the Z has gone through more changes in several years than the S? I don't get it, it has no bearing on the car from what I can see.

Anyway, to J_STATUS, while I have to say that I too don't understand the need to own BOTH cars , congrats and enjoy!
