Since you've already got a Z, don't bother getting the STi. Each car has its merits, but certainly those of the STi won't outweigh the reaming you'll get by dumping an almost-new car for a brand new one.

That's why you traded in your Z for an S?

Well, the S is certainly more nimble simply because of the weight, which is what I wanted. I also wanted a convertible.

On the track, the Z does very, very well, and competes closely with the S.

I'm surprised no one has said the EVO is to some superior to the STi. I may see what's happening with the incentives on the EVO/STi in a year of two. EVO or STi may surprise or embarrass a M3 at the stop light, I don't think you can say the same thing about the Z.

Regardless of how different these cars are (a lot) this ultimately is a valid comparison because they are priced similarly.

For me there is no comparison, the STi has better performance and has more room. Meanwhile the Z falls a bit short in the areas were a sports car should excel, looks and handling. It's beautiful from the side profile, but I don't like the front or back. It should handle well, but thanks to the sedan/SUV platform is too bloated for it mission.

Both cars suffer from really cheap interiors.
