i thought somebody here talked about seeing some Michigan plates 350Z being road tested in AZ ...

Nissan's North American technical center is located in Farmington Hills, MI. So any 350Zs floating around in the US probably have MI Dealer Mfr plates.

Arizona is a popular place for hot weather testing - I am pretty sure Honda NA, Chrysler, and Ford (and probably others) all do testing in AZ.

I got to spend a day at Chrysler's proving grounds outside of Phoenix back when I was in college. They have a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge oval out there, among other things.
