Have you seen the 350Z roadster with the top up? Someone posted pics awhile back but can't find it.

The biggest difference between the two cars is WEIGHT! How much does the queen mary weigh (350z) weigh? I has to be atleast 200 pounds heavier than the already porky copue.

FYI, I figure I can buy a new S2000 for about $30K.

I'd appreciate any good and thoughtful advice for my situation.

If I could pick up a 350Z convert at invoice, I'd jump at the chance. Buy it on the cheap and sell it to the guy that inevitably will pay way over MSRP for it. Then put that profit towards the S2K or whatever car you may want.

Mark A. has the right idea, but if you can't do that go for the S2000. IMO the S2000 simply puts the 350Z to shame. You definitely won't regret it.

i've honestly never driven the 350z but just by the looks of it, the s2k blows it out of the water IMO. i am not biased, this was my opinion even before i bought the s2k.

I say S2000, even with the available 350z at invoice, but it's your choice. I agree with Mark A. though. Sell it on ebay for a quick turnaround at MSRP or higher and buy an s2000 and pocket the difference for mods.
