350Z or G35 sport coupe???
I'm looking for a new car to serve as both a daily driver and for something fun to push around town ... since both the 350Z and the G35 coupe are nearly identical cars down to the pricing (roughly), which would be the better option? I'm leaning more towards the G35, not because of the Infinity name but because I like the looks better than the 350Z, although the Z isn't bad looking either. I dunno...both cars seem too much alike in many ways that it's kinda hard to decide. What would you pick? And can most of the mods from the 350Z be fitted to the G35? I would hope so since they use the exact same VQ engine

I persoally like the G35 Coupe better. Like you said, mechanically they are nearly identical (7HP more for the 350Z), but I think the G35 looks a little nicer. Also, I like the interior better on the G35. I have two friends with G35 Coupes and they are great cars. I also have one coworker with a 350Z and while still a great car, side by side the G35 Coupe just looks better to me. Other than that, you need to decide which car appeals to you more and go from there since looks are all subjective.

Yeah I have decided on the G35...but can you put mods from the 350Z onto the G35 since they are pretty much exactly the same car saved for minor cosmetic differences? Like can an intake and exhaust and ECU upgrade for the Z bolt right into the G35 with no fabrication needed?

As a daily driver, i'd say G35.
For a performance aspect, i'd say 350Z. I mean, correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't the G35 has a foot activated parking brake??? That just screams anti performance for me anyways.

I'm going to be the first guy to vote for the 350Z. The 350Z's lighter and thus quicker than the G35. Its suspension calibration is also stiffer, and unlike the G35, its traction control can be disabled.
If you're looking for a sports car, you don't really have a choice between the two cars.
