After over a full year of ownership my 335i coupe has averaged 21.7 mpg.That is mostly mountain driving.To give you a comparison my 06' S2k gets 19 mpg and my 05' Odyssey gets 20mpg. I believe the direct fuel injection is really what makes the difference. The car is driven pretty hard especially when I am the driver ( can't keep the wife away though).Thought some might be interested to know.Oh and I have had Zero problems.

Man thats awesome. My s2k gets about 23mpg. I dog the sh1t outta my car too.

 

I use to live in Florida ( Clearwater/Largo) and you can get much better gas/tire milage down there on those straight flat roads.Up here in the mountains its brutal on your car .Tires last half as long and your gas milage really suffers,one of the downsides to living in an area with some of the best "driving" roads in the country.
