There are lots of 335's running in that range...they're are many pretty close to that with just a Procede and now that there are downpipes available they'll be getting quicker. I have DP's ordered and will install when Procede V2 is realeased and I expect to run very low 12's in the mid teens. The 335's should be good for a little ovewr 400RWHP before the fuel systems gets to be an issue.
Post up a slip!

Wonder if a Procede 335 Cabrio would offset some of the heft?

Yeah that 335i cabrio is a real porker at 3946 lbs, that reatractable hardtop is a nice feature but is heavy. Still nothing beats the S4 cabrio at 4211lbs and its a ragtop!

most of those 335i's were trapping under 110mph...to my knowledge there is only a handful of 335i's that has trapped over 110mph...114mph is the highest ever so far if i'm not mistaken.

It would of course be faster but there's no hiding the pounds.

I agree for the most part...I have seen alot more in the 12.6-12.7 @ 109-110mph range but I have still seen quite a few faster. Obvisouly the location has a great impact...a 12.4 @114mph at LACR is much faster than a 12.4 @ 114mph at Englishtown.

Looks like it was a fake time slip after all. Wonder why someone would do that? http://www.dragtimes.com/forums/Just-not-a...Hoax-t7760.html

hey that M6 is no joke. I saw a video of one un-regulated on the Autobahn doing 194mph and it was still accelerating when they had to slow down by traffic.

Also (from C&D test):

0-150mph :
2007 Corvette (Z51 performance package) 26.8 sec
2008 Corvette (Z51) 23.5 sec
M6 19.5s sec
damn... are u sure about those M6 numbers? and its trapping over 120?

regarding the 335 #'s... i can believe the trap speed... but its hard to believe the ET of 12.3... It sounds like an AWD car's 1/4 mile stats.. for that ET, a RWD car should be trapping a little higher... especially with no LSD... so he may be on slicks or have other mods....

Why is it that the 335i makes great dyno numbers with light mods but can't translate the power into drag strip performance. Trap speeds of ~110 are not that impressive.

thats the trap speed of a 997S ... and definitly faster than an E46 M3 and a RS4... so id say thats pretty fast for a $45K luxury car...

reason it cant translate into drag strip is due to not enough tire and no LSD...
