Between those two, the closest I'd come to a Nissan dealer is doing a big burnout in front of the dealership in a G8 GT.
mostly, but that maxima interior looks great and I do really like the new Max.

Avalon competitor or what? I can't imagine the performance is up there with the entry level sports-luxury sedans (C class, 3, CTS, IS, etc). At its price level it better have them beat on luxury.

At 39k though?
That being said, the interior of the new maxima does look great.

You guys are talking about the top of the line 3.5SV with sport or premium package. But this new Maxima actually starts at $29,290. For this amount, you could only have a base Lexus IS250 and not even a base BMW 328i, so I think it is still an okay deal. Plus, its interior is on par with Infiniti G35's interior, which is really nice for the entry-luxury sports sedan. I like this new look more than the outgoing one because I always get confused with the old Maxima with the current and last gen Altima.

Well Nissan seems to have hit the nail on the head with the new Max. I'm already seeing as many of those as I have G8s. I think it looks sharp, better than in the early pictures. I too was a bit frustrated that they decided to keep the new Max FWD, but then again they probably did it for MPG considerations. Nonetheless, I'm sure it's a damn good FWD car.
