Any one in your list but 325i would be fine. But I kinda recommend Accord EX V6 with navi or a TSX.

If you are willing to get the automatic Honda V6 EX the price is substantially less than the 6 speed. You lose the 180 watt stereo (get 125 instead), the 17" rims (16") and the perforated leather seats but you can get one for about $3K less.

Well, I would definitely not get the Accord. Any Accord. I have a 2003 EX V6, and it is boring as hell. Sure, it's a nice enough car, but nothing an enthusiast should ever get excited about owning. I will never make such a practical decision again. And, I'm not sure the 6-sp coupe would be all that much better. In my opinion, every 6-cylinder FWD car that I have driven has had far too much understeer. I just don't think you can throw that much weight over the front of a FWD car and not get a ton of understeer. That being said, I would defnitely go with the RX-8 or G35 coupe. Get the RX-8 if you're looking for more sport, and the G35 if you're looking for more luxury (it's a lot heavier). I, personally, would also buy a TSX (I know it's FWD, but the 4-cylinder should be much better balanced). I absolutely would not buy the navi and body kit, though. I think the car is a great value at around $25K, but throw those x-tras on and it gets too close to $30K. For that $, the G35 and IS300 are better buys.

I've driven every car on your list except the RX-8 so I can't comment on that.

It really boils down to what you want.

For me it was in order:
1. Quality/Dependability
2. Fun to drive
3. Dealer Service
4. Modability

This is the reason I still have my IS300. The quality is unmatched. I find it the most fun to drive of any car on your list (I haven't driven the STi or Evo 8). Lexus service is unsurpassed and the modability of the IS is good because of it's relationship with the supra.

oh, RSX-S, you can get that loaded with options for way less than 30K, and then keep the rest for mods..
