I, more or less, had a similar situation to you last year. I was sitting on 2 cars, one being the s2k, and about $20k in positive equity between the two. Being that I now have 2 young kids (which wasn't the situation when I first got the s2k), I just went with one, do-it-all car, and rolled that money into my current ISF. I'm very happy with my decision, because I didn't get to enjoy the S2k that often.

If I were single, younger and had no kids, I'd have probably kept my 2 car situation longer. The other car was a TSX.

I'd have to stick w/ my Ridgeline or something similar for hauling dirt bikes, home depot runs, etc., then I'd spend whatever was left over on a Miata or S2000 budget permitting.

I'd still love a 2009 solstice gxp coupe (I'm weird like that, I have no logical reason why I want it), and then get maybe a pickup to do dirty work with.
You are not alone on this one. To me it was a really great looking car and very rare.
Yeah the design really speaks to me. I missed an opp to get a cool gxp with manual with 6k miles for diiirrrt cheap but the seller was sitting on it and I bought another s instead. Then she ends up trading it in for less than I offered. I havent been able to find one like it since.

I have my S now and a cavalier with 60k miles as my DD. If i had 28k to play with i would probably buy an AP2 , and for a DD i would probably buy an EK hatch and obd2 gsr swap it. just keep the extra cash then lol. i don't need anything too luxurious. i don't think i could ever have 1 car. If my job didn't involve construction i would purchase still an AP2 and then an ITR for dd duties.

i need a dd that can haul tools, snowboards/ski rack in the winter and get good gas mileage. a cavalier isn't really exciting but it's in really good shape so im happy with it. i'd like another more fun DD because my car is more work dedicated and it gets dusty and messy inside often. been thinking of picking up an evo viii
