Default 224mph Porsche... U-g-l-y!

Welcome the Techart Street 'S'

With 646 hp / 475 kW and a maximum speed of 341 km/h the TechArt GT street S based on the Porsche GT2 has always been one of the world’s fastest street-legal sportscars. With the new ContiSportContact II Vmax high performance tires, which are designed for maximum speeds up to 360 km/h, the lightweight coupe from TechArt Automobildesign is now able to develop its full performance potential. On occasion of test-drives on the high speed track in Nardo / Italy the TechArt GT street S, which is manufactured in small series production for a retail price starting from 250,000 Euros, was measured with a maximum speed of 360.9 km/h.

The watercooled six-cylinder boxer engine of the GT2 was modified by TechArt in many details for the TechArt GT street S. Two bigger turbochargers and intercoolers each contribute to the TechArt GT street S engine tuning just like the aluminium-made induction pipes, the sport airbox and the stainless steel exhaust system with integrated high performance catalysts. All modifications get exactly coordinated by the recalibrated ECU to achieve the unique performance of the TechArt GT street S engine.

After the conversion the engine delivers 646 hp / 475 kW at 5,900 rpm and a maximum torque of 870 Nm at 4,700 rpm. Power transmission to the rear wheels is made via a special high performance clutch and a modified six-speed manual gearbox with TechArt gearshift travel shortage.

The 1,400 kilogramms light TechArt GT street S is one of the world‘s fastest super sports cars: The two-seater coupe catapults from 0 - 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. After 12.0 seconds the TechArt GT street S is already 200 km/h fast. From 0 - 300 km/h the car only takes 22.9 seconds. Maximum speed is 360.9 km/h.

These performance figures make greatest demands on perfectly balanced aerodynamics. The TechArt designers developed bodywork components in the wind tunnel which don’t only give the TechArt GT street S its distinctive look but especially optimal aerodynamic downforce. The TechArt GT street S front apron with adjustable splitter produces downforce on the front axle and supplies lots of fresh air to the coolers and front brakes via larger, distinctively styled air intakes. In addition, the central air exhaust in the bumper improves the deventilation of the coolers. The TechArt side skirts stabilize the wind flow and guide the air stream past the rear wheels. The TechArt air ductings in the side sections optimize the fresh-air supply for engine and intercoolers.

The approach angle of the TechArt GT street S rear wing can be adjusted and so the owner of this super sportscar can alternatively set up his car for maximum downforce or higher top speed. The TechArt GT street S rear apron with integrated diffuser also contributes to the high downforce on the rear axle and additionally puts the two characteristic twin exhaust tips of the TechArt high performance exhaust system in the limelight.

The TechArt GT street S suspension, which was developed in cooperation with Bilstein and Eibach, is set up very sporty. The optimum tuning of the height-adjustable TechArt GT street S coil over sport suspension was developed in cooperaton with the Bilstein racing service during extensive test drives on the Nordschleife of the N

I'll roll that 996 even if it had hot pink paint, primer, you name it!
Bad ass ride!

And the paint is, well, different, but I've seen alot worse.
