Probably because they didn't really drive it that hard (ie, it's boring to watch 10 minutes of loafing (relatively speaking) up the hill).

Nope, my cousin's 2015 Accord V6 sounds better (no joke).
It's probably the turbo's but they should produce it with an active exhaust system so you can get a more raw sound out of this car.
