i dont know what you drive, but how the hell did you adjust to the clutch going N --> 1st and 1st --> 2nd while driving it nicely. I couldnt get it to engage smoothly.
felt like a sports clutch because the engagement point was so small. Did you experience anything similar?

If I remember correctly from my test, the gear would engage almost right off of the floor. If you let out the clutch pedal a quarter inch, it was immediately in gear. It took a little getting used to coming from my S2000 and I would have preferred it to be less abrupt, but I got used to it after a few miles.

With any new clutch, you just need time to get used to it and you will operate it perfectly. It might also be adjustable, but I don't know for sure.

Late to the game, In my personal opinion, I believe that it is the most hideous Miata of all, with the NC being the best looking version. So disjointed and unsynchronized makes me wanna puke! In terms of technology and advancing the platform, I am sure it is better in every way, but man, is it UGLY.....
