It's a nice place to sit, I can say that. The interior is very well put-together and quality is high. It's just that anything beyond that is either mediocre or sub-par.
And holy cow, look at those Insight sales. I can't remember if they're bringing it back for 2016, but I'd be shocked if they did.

How many people have owned one? Own one?
*raises hand*
I always hesitate to make a comment, because someone may think "what do you know? What sports cars have YOU driven?"
Or claim me someone who is desperately trying to defend my purchase.
Both conversations have come up IRL.
It's fun. It's very fun. Go to another post in this same section. How many people here piss and moan (read: "defend") that the s2000, while not the fastest or the most luxurious, is fun because of the whole package, and is worth moreso because of it?
I enjoy being able to take off at the same rate as the final gen V6 Eclipses. Of course I got beat by the time we hit 50-60. I don't care, it's designed to be a fun commuter car.
I enjoy all the cargo space, and the looks of the interior.
I enjoy the six speed shifter, though I have to look at it from a broad perspective. It is smooth, but nowhere near as satisfying as the S, or a WRX. Better than a Passat, for sure.
I enjoy being inconspicuous to police, because speed = sound.
I enjoy the looks that people give to the car. (Isn't that what people say here so often? Looks of the S matter sooooo much).
The amount of complaining for this car, you'd think it was a Geo Metro, or a Fiero. It's still amazingly reliable.
Suits me, though, I was able to pick one up for 9k. I regret selling my first one, though it made sense at the time.
(I will say this: I agree with the whole "it doesn't make sense financially when a Fit has the same/more utility, and a much better price." Then again, if we all thought like this, the S2000 would have never been designed, either.)

They look real good.... Kinda heavy at 2600+ lbs, though I'm sure getting rid of the hybrid stuff would drop 100+ lbs.
I'm a fan... Though I think I'd rather pick up a EP3 for $5-7k in good shape.
