Anyone else super excited about this?

I think the only really unconfirmed bit is the availability of 4Motion with the stick+diesel. I have no problems with the looks of the current Sportwagen but this one also looks nice.

If the AWD rumors are true, then I'll probably trade my Golf R for this. I've got a kid on the way and was hoping to avoid buying a giant SUV.

This 6MT CTS-V wagon owner approves of any stick wagon. With AWD, the Jetta should be a fun, safe daily driver. I hope they DO bring bring a MT AWD diesel version to the USA.

Then again, I'm a wagon guy at heart. And a MT lover.

This would be the perfect alt to SUV for a young family. Having said that, I will probably be interested in a couple years! Diesel AWD stick wagon would certainly be a unique combo in the US. The looks are much improved and these are actually really nice for the price to boot. Can't wait to check out the MQB stuff. I guess the A3 is the first stateside right?

Also crossing my fingers that they do drop the Jetta name from the US bound sportwagen, its a Golf after all...
