2014 Mazda 6
#11
My family has owned a few Mazdas and they have all been great, even the RX7. The worst one was my brothers 6 from a few generations ago. The fuel pump had to be replaced twice in 100,000 miles, but that was the only issue.
The new 6 is a nice car. Supposed to be a fun driver too.

The high compression worries me with the new Mazda 6. Make sure you aren't getting bad gas.. . they say 87 octane works but I bet the stuff with high ethanol content doesn't work that well and you'd have to fill up with 89 or 91.
You don't save money on gas if you get 38mpg but are filling up with gas that costs .30Cents more a gallon than the car that gets 35mpg. $4/38 = 3.70/35
But on another note, my brother got a 2014 base model. seems okay. I haven't driven it yet.
I'm not sure I'd get it over a Mazda 3 hatch unless their wagon looks real good!

If Mazda says 87 oc is safe, you better believe it is. Otherwise thousands of people will come in with motor problems.

I never been a fan of mazda's newer styling but it is definitely a nice looking car. Saw one for the first time in person the other day, mistaked it as a lexus at first glance.

I think the accord is the best sedan on the market. In fact I think it has been for the last 15 years. The Camry was never as good, there something about the way a new Honda feels and drives that I absolutely love. Tell you dad to hop in a brand new accord v6 coupe and tell me that is bland compared to a 185hp Mazda 6.

The Accord with the V6 is a very nice machine, especially for the class. Drives and feels way more upscale than the cost. Certainly class-leading, that's for sure. Nothing else offers the fuel economy, power and looks in that class.
