Glad to see all the thoughtful posts. I agree with Scot.

I never thought any of Ford's vehicles looked good until just recently. The old Escape had practically nothing going on for it. This looks much much better than the old model.

the escape was one of the most cheapest car ever. The interior was a joke. A co-worker have one and we always joke him. Because it seems to be the most easy car to dissasembly

I can't remember what an Escape looks like, never noticed. But I have to agree with the OP that if they have a great selling body style that maybe instead of spending money on an external redesign they should put some $$$ into the interior or reliability.

Yes, DB8 I was serious.
You do, however, get points for posting a picture of your daughter with one.

Ford Escape described as a masculine car has to be the dumbest thing I have heard this week. I don't think I have ever actually seen a man driving one

Eh. I also have a Ford Escape as my daily, and I agree with OP. Ford has IMO been and continues to be the best of the American car companies, and I'm sure that the interior, MPG, engine specs and so on with this new Escape incarnation will be all well and good. But aesthetically speaking, this is a mistake. I would be forced to look at something else based on appearance alone.
