Beautiful, elegant, understated, hats off another great job by Porsche

The low-slung lines make me thing of a cat of prey.

I'd probably love it if the taillights didn't look like they were hijacked from an Aston Martin. I'm sure I'll be willing to trade up from my 997S when the time comes, though.

Something that I just thought about, which part will be the speed activated pop-up spoiler? My guess is the piece that goes from one rear quarter to the other just below the vents.

Looks good, but fairly pedestrian...nothing too exciting. I'm sure the GT2, GT3, and other versions will look pretty cool though.

^ Compared to what you drive, anything short of a Lambo falls into the "fairly pedestrian" category.

true, but i wasn't really comparing.

I like the look of the 911, but the base one always looks to plain to me. I understand why, but it doesn't do a lot for me. I've always preferred the more exciting looks of the upgraded models, turbo, GT3, GT2, etc.

And I'm sure many people think my car is garish...boorish even, but I like it!

Did the HID's actually move from a lower position to a higher position?

There's a seam around the vents. I'm guessing that's going to be the spoiler.
It's interesting that the 'hood' is now wider/bigger. I wonder if that will actually make it possible to do some basic maintenance on the engine without dropping it out of the car.

They wouldn't dare!!! That part of the 911 is the defining aspect of owning a 911. If they change that, they might as well make it FWD.
