"2012 GT-R is now complete"

The bottom of that front bumper looks like a damn 2000 eclipse :bang:
However if what this article says is infact true; then they just fixed the one problem I had with the car [besides it being a ginormous whale of a car].

If I was buying a $85k car like that I'd feel awful nervous about leaving it with mechanics/lotboys who are used to carting Sentras and Altimas around.
I have the same issue with the Corvette. Now you can buy a $45K, a $75K or a $100K+ model and have it services with the Cobalts and work trucks. (To be honest, my local Chevy dealer always really rolled out the red carpet for my Z06, but there are plenty of stories to the contrary).

Exactly. That's actually a bit of piece of mind I would get with buying a Porsche. My Boxster or Cayman would be the most run-of-the-mill car at the dealership. Even with my SC'd S2K I worry about some lotboy dumping the clutch and toasting my differential.

Easy fix to the concern: whenever "you" drop off "your" GT-R, just assertively tell the service manager to tell all the service workers/mechanics not to drive or play with it, or there would be a repercussion. Fixed!

There's some truth to that. I know there's specific training, I'm sure a GT-R buyer sits at the top of the pecking order, etc., but in my mind that's another part of what you're paying for with something like a Porsche.

fwiw The dealer totaled my friends Cayman S, both the techs were hospitalized. Is that also what you are paying for when you get a Porsche? It doesn't matter what brand of car you buy, some dealers have immature people working there
The average price of vehicles, smaller range of products, brand equity, markup, really puts a Porsche dealer in a position to deliver better service.
