doesnt anyone feel like they took the Crz and si and put them together and got the new si? i mean the powerplant(if like the current k series engines) will be alot better then the old 2.0 ivtec. the si will have more tq then they do now with bolts ons and tune. but at the same time an si is nothing more then a cool dd in my eyes. decent mpg and you can make an si look good easily to daily drive.

More torque? Absolutely.
More power? Not likely.
This version of the K24 (if its the 09+TSX version, which I expect it is), does NOT have i-vtec on the exhaust side and has a exhaust manifold welded on to the block and has the cat extremely close to the engine - all of which limit power potential. Not to mention the long stroke of the K24 means that after 6k, power starts taking a nosedive even with aggressive aftermarket cams.
So basically, if you're expecting K20A/K20Z type gains with I/H/E and reflash - its probably not going to happen....
In regards to the car, this is not a AP1 to AP2 type move, which was questionable upgrade. To me this is a flat out downgrade - aka if the AP2 had much less power potential, in addition to losing 1000 rpms of revs. As someone mentioned before, this is basically the EP3 Si (02-05) all over again. I hope it doesn't sell at all, and everyone sends a message to Honda that this is unacceptable with their pocketbooks.

After spending some time on TOV, the general consensus is that the stance is wrong due to photoshop work and a low camera angle. The actual stance of the car, based on prototype photos, is virtually identical to the current car (which is quite good for the segment). So, it won't look like a 4x4.

Really surprised at all the hate towards this car. I can count a LOT of new cars today that look worse than this.
