The picture isn't that bad. The real bad news is tha the pciture is an Si model. It looks the cheaper model. Also it looks like a 4x4. I don't like cars running low but this is 4x4

Complacency at its finest.

Looks like this will be Hyundai's decade.

I'm sort of wondering if the cars had spacers (for transport) still on them or if the stance was somehow altered by the photographer. The current car has a much better stance and the taller stance is bad for aerodynamics/fuel economy as well (ie, I don't know why this car would have it). Seriously, the wheel/fender gap looks to be about 4", which would be retarded (I don't think ANY current car has that).

When did they start selling the 4x4 conversion on the Si. I mean crap. The body line is is at the center of the wheel for cripes sake.

I like the dash on my civic. Have you spent much time actually driving one or just looking at pictures of it?
My brother has one. I've driven it a number of times including a 2 hour drive. I don't really like the car. Some of my dislike is unfair. It feels light and more road noise than I would like comes through. That should be expected out of a Civic. The stepped dash annoyed me the whole time. I will never get used to or like that.

Anyone else think the front end looks like a Mazda, particularly the older Mazda 3?

It's a Civic! It can't be aggressive- or controversial-looking. It has to suit the general population, not the sports car crowd. If it's too sporty- or aggressive-looking, the old people may be put off by it. It'll continue to be the 3rd or 4th best-selling car.
