How many in here will actually buy a minivan? Exactly. None.
This thing will blow the new Sienna away. I guarantee it. Better mileage, more room, at least as reliable, and similarly priced with options that even the Sienna doesn't offer.
I think it looks fine. The kink looks a bit weird, sure, but in a darker color you won't even notice it.

We owned a minivan for a few years. I don't hate them. For hauling stuff and people in comfort and efficiency they can't be beat. I love my sports cars but let's face it, the S2000 would struggle to take 4 kids to the beach or haul a new grill home from Lowe's. We also owned a Yukon Denali (short version) and the minivan had much more useable cargo volume. Not as much load capacity but a lot more volume. My wife hated the step up/down height of the Denali but loved the minivan. The kids preferred the minivan too. And the minivan got about 25% better fuel economy than the Denali.

It looks like they welded on the back end. Damn they've lost it.

The new Odyssey actually looks good to me. Much preferred over the current bloated styling. The "lightning bolt" is a nice distinctive design that will probably set it apart from other minivans.
