Unfortunetly the same can be said about Honda. The S2K has been around for almost 10 years....with zero bump in HP. Also back in '97, the Prelude had 200HP. What happened there? No other 4-banger from Honda has 200HP now...(well, the Si has 196hp or something..)

I had an 07 Gti for about 8 months. In that time, it went back to the dealer 3 times for warranty work. The car is over engineered. It's as if the designers could not solve simple problems with simple solutions. That's completely opposite from the S2000 and every other honda designed before 2000.

BTW, what the hell happened in 2000 that made all the the new Honda products just like Mazda, Toyota, VW, Subaru... I mean from an engineering stand point. Tons of stamped metal parts vs. cast aluminum, mac-struts, spinning the motors the other way...???
