2010 EVO

The previous USDM Evo's with the SSL package that included a sunroof used the regular GSR steel roof, not the MR aluminum one.
And remember Mitsubishi is doing it's best to make this car appeal to a much broader audience which explains the odd cross shopping going on. It's the same thing that happened with the jump between the Evo VI and the VII.

thanks for the info. I wasn't completely sure about the steel vs. aluminum roof on the prior gen. You're right about the broader market appeal for the car by offering a sunroof option. I guess with some folks it's a deal breaker if they can't get a sunroof. Personally, they should look at other cars if that's the case.

I'm sure someone competent enough could. And there are other reasons for NOT wanting a sunroof as in less headroom, interior noise, less moving parts, etc. Doesn't all have to do with the added 60LBS or so, relax.

yeah ok. it's not a race car. no way you could tell the difference driving to exact same models when one has a sun roof and one doesn't. this is one of the silliest arguments I have ever heard. I love passing the 'hard core' no sun roof having cars in my ssl evo on the track...
