2010 CR-V defects
#11
I'd definitely take it back. Purchased new 09 Pilot EXL and on way home, sunvisor fell while I was driving and had to pull over on the side of freeway. Interior plastics very cheap for a $25k+ model. Power outlet in 2nd row yanked off the 1st week. Carpet fraying where bottom vent is in 2nd row. Lots of wind and road noise and stiffer than normal suspension for what supposedly is a comfortable passenger hauler. Disappointing compared to Highlander and CX9. Wife wanted the room and width of the Pilot. Hardest leather seats I've sat in but needed leather since we have small kids. I'm hoping newer Hondas are still reliable other than all these negatives.

rear passanger door weld defect is the only thing i see here thats a problem....
the alignment could be due to so many numerous factors that it cannot be blamed on the manufacturer.
the TINY TINY TINY bit of rust your complaining about on the exhaust tip is just rediculous in my opinion.... and the rust on the weld of the muffler is normal.
the paint defects unfortunately are no ones problems but your own, since you were offered a full opportunity to completely inspect the vehicle yourself before purchase....
im not trying to be a dick, im just playing devils advocate...i dont think your dealer will do anything for you at all. Even the door rust problem probobly wont be taken seriously by your dealer until it progresses further.

I would make them mark the cosmetic things down now so that if they turn into problems there is some kind of documentation. Get copies of the paperwork.
You should have them fix the alignment though.

I completely agree with the country of manufacture issue. All our 3 cars were manufactured and shipped from Japan and we have not had a single problem with them. My wife's 01 CRV just had the front brake pads changed at 85K miles!!! The rears are still original. I have heard CRV issues from friends owing the next gen on (02+). Rust issues and some electrical problems with 02-04, I have heard of. I thought I was the only one too anal about where the car was actually manufactured/assembled.
And yes, these are unacceptable defects on a new car.
