Ok so I guess you prefer the looks of the Fit over the Civic SI.

I just found it odd that you would want to spend so much money on modding a brand new car that sells for really cheap and is made for people who just want to get from point A to B.

But if you really dig the car and wanna have fun modding it, props!

I just really like the Civic SI sedan, it's a great all-around car that is just perfect stock engine-suspension wise for daily driving an occasional auto-x or light track with good tires.

Not a used CPO 2007. They're readily available in the $16K-$18K range.
if you say that then you have to compare Fit with 07 used as well. I 'm not sure how much used Fit would go for.

No, we're comparing a used CPO 2007 Civic Si to a 2009 Honda Fit (new)... With the CPO Civic, you get a longer warranty, a better performing car, and a more substantial car all around for the same money.

yeah and with the si sedan get ready for more problems than you want.
i've known so many people with problems with the new si's

with the fit you get reliablity
i have 20k on my 07 and never had one problem so far.
just dealing with the anemic motor is enough for me to
get rid of it.

they go for around 13-14k used.
