... The 3.8 L in the base Carrera, and the GT3 motor in the Carrera S would have been an awesome lineup.

Yeah right, your woman is going to have you driving an Accord just like all the other Asian/Indian's in the bay area.
she better have a cold beer if she knows what's good for her.

Don't count on the C7 having more power! Given rising CAFE hurdles and gas prices, I wouldn't be surprised to see hp going down in the next gen, w/ a greater emphasis on weight reduction to achieve performance goals.

This is a pointless comment that tainted your post...thats like saying I wanna see a 747 break the sound barrier...if its not designed for that why should it accomplish it...an f1 car is designed for two races (engine)...If the entire 911 was better than anything under its price bracket than the marketing structure for the 911 would have to be altered would it not? If porsche can sell more cars the way they are doing it right now with their base model and S model trims why should they change anything...

The 747-400 is a high sub-sonic cruiser which trues out at about mach 0.85 or roughly 600MPH. The 747-100 during testing in the early 60's did mach 1.1 in a dive from FL400 breaking the sound barrier with no ill effects My "tainted" post represents my disdain for modern F1 racing and long appreciation of prototype racing. Your final comments make no sense whatsoever, don't know what you are trying to say as it has no relevance to what I stated.

I'll give you $100 bucks to let her read that.
she didn't agree with it but she read it. I pictures of bodily injury to prove it.
