2009 370Z!

I can see why opinions vary. It makes a bold move away from the squatting frog shape. My all-time-favorite car I owned was a hot rodded 1972 240Z. I can see more hints of those lines in this car. And yes, I am starting to salivate. Maybe I can paint those fangs black or shave them, 'cause that is the only picture element that bothers me.
I've seen some comparisons to design elements in the GT-R (rear roof & window) but that's not a bad thing to go for. BMW is one of the masters of that sort of common-element design and it sure works for their marketing. If anything they didn't go far enough. Can you imagine this with more front hood overhang (overbite), like the original Z's?

That photo looks mildly reminiscent of the original 350Z concept. I think the front grille, aor intake will see some toning down before it makes production. The headlights, unfortunately probably will stay since there is already the family trend with the Maxima.

The 135i looks HORRIBLE in pictures, but I've seen a few in real life and they look a whole lot better especially in a good color scheme like white/red leather or black/red leather. If the next Z really makes 350 hp and weights anywhere near 3010 pounds it will be a killer.
