Paying for status?

My wife has the 08 Accord Coupe EXVL and loves it!! I'm thinking the new Accord sedan may be my next daily driver!

you should combine all these threads into "PROv1's car search" or something.

I have a MT 07 EXL V6 and I'll be stunned if you get 31 MPG on the highway. If it's the 4 cylinder, ignore me!!

Im not too sure about the older Accords but the new 2008 Honda Accord comes with VCM (variable Cylinder Management) so it can either run on 3,4 or 6 cylinders depending on the load. 4 cylinders only get 1 more mile per gallon on both highway and city. If you ask me its a bargain!

The 07 doesn't have VCM. I'm only getting around 25 mpg AT BEST when doing mostly highway driving. And that's mostly all the time since my office is 95 miles away (work at home though usually).

I have no experience with the 08s, but I'd be surprised if a V6 is usually getting 30 mpg.
