I would never buy this as a daily driver...
But as a 3rd or 4th car... totally!
In our family, the vehicles outnumber the adults almost 2:1....

I would take a used Exige S for $40k in 2 years.
Btw, regarding quality issues - The main issues I have heard about are the shifter and the clutch. I have a friend with 100 track wknds on his elise. His 2nd clutch went out last wknd at the track. 1st clutch lasted 17k miles, 2nd clutch - 14k miles. Again - this is his track car and a DD or cruiser. The shifter is know to be flimsy and vague.

Shifter is crappy on my friend's '07 Exige S as well.
Phenomenal handling, good acceleration, good braking.
For those saying it's bad for a DD, don't even comment if you're considering this car as a DD.
It's pure, hardcore track car.
