NEWS FROM LEFTLANE: M3 V8 produces 420hp (RPM not given) with 295lbs of torque at 3900 RPM, with an 8300 RPM redline.

Man i'd love to drive a V8 up to 8300rpms...wow. Its estimated at 55,000. so thats about 6,000 more than the last one.

sweetest looking m3 ever!! Is the pic. you posted an older version? I remember seeing the latest ones with chimeney vents on the hood...and different mirrors.

This is basically the concept, without the wheels and retarded mirrors. I dont think the mirrors are going to make it past geneva.

the pic above for some reason looks way better than pics previously posted. I love the car above and love it even more that its a V8 that revs out higher that an Ap2

Umm, that's 75 lb-ft per liter. pretty good if you ask me.

You can't expect much more torque than that NA as the torque is a function of compression, stroke, displacement, etc.

8300 RPM is pretty sweet. If uncorked I bet it makes a NASCAR-like sound! How much will this car weigh again? Is it 3400-ish?
