The backend looks so European, maybe like an Alfa Romeo or VW.

Looks like a Sonata back end with a Mazda 6/Acura TL front...

Whatever... It'll probably have a screaming engine based on the ones in the Avalon and IS and handle like poo.

Yep, looks like a Mazda 6 in the front, and the lights are a cross between the Acura Vigor and G35.

My only gripe is with automakers in general. They seem to be making their emblems bigger and bigger. Soon it will overtake the whole trunk and hood.

I'm thinking Mazda 3 in the front (it has that almost bulbous grill which is more mild on the 6) and a Civic coupe in the back (lights and even the bumper are similar). Has anyone seen what the redesigned Altima will look like? I'm thinking it will be pretty nice.

^^ I agree with the emblems. Toyota started with the Solara. The Cadillac emblem on the Escalade is approximately the size of a basketball. Looks rediculous IMO.

Speaking of, the Corolla and Altima are all due for a change.

I wonder what engines will be in these cars, especially the new Altima. Nothing new has been slated and the 3.5V6 doesn't get good fuel econ and runs on premium compared to Toyotas and Hondas.

I'm sure the market audience looks at those factors.

none of you guys see the Avalon in the back end? I thought for a second it was the Avalon and you were pulling my leg.
