It will definitely be a 3.5 V6 or above. I know guys I wish it would would retain the strait 6 too or even a larger strait 6 would be awesome. I don't really like the look that much either but it is a Skyline... It is sort of mysterious because we in the states really don't know that much about them. My guess though is that the new car will be a lot prettier than the old one.

The G35 *IS* the Skyline platform, and the platform for just about every car Nissan currently makes outside of the Sentra.

It's under the Altima, the Maxima, the upcoming M45, the FX, and most notably the G35, which is the American Skyline.

Actually from what I understand the platform for the new M45 is an update on the G35 platform and a major improvement at that. I bet the GTR will uses this.

Supposely it will make its debut in the Tokyo Auto Show in late 2006, then it will start appearing at the dealers in mid 2007 as an early 2008 model, marketed as the Infiniti GTR here.
