BMW X3 FTW Here. Maybe because I did a BMW event where they let us attack the cones. My Mother was shockingly in tow and beat me one of the laps.

Waiting for the X3 with the TT engine.
But seriously, I don't understand cute-utes.
I'd buy a wagon for less weight and same interior cargo space.
If ground clearance is your thing, then I'd at least get the ability to carry 7 passengers.

a) refuses to drive a car significantly larger than the Forester she's driving now
b) doesn't want another forester, she wants a bit of an upgrade w/o feeling like she's throwing money away
c) wants AWD
d) hates any and all wagons with a thug passion...I think she's fighting this whole "approaching 30" thing.
e) wants 4 doors
f) won't buy anything american, and is extremely skeptical of european reliability--warranties don't matter, if it goes into the shop once, she'll be pissed for life.
g) no underpowered cars, eg CRV
(she's nowhere near as bad as I make her sound in this post, ha)
So what does that leave? Basically the only cars that fit the description are the AWD, japanese cars - IS250AWD, the RL, M35x, G35x, RDX, maybe the Murano, Highlander, s60, etc... just an unnattractive place to be in general.

i'd pay invoice for it since its not too hot sales wise but a decent car. A friend of mine bought one at invoice from planet acura and is pretty satisfied w/ the sale and car itself.
