[QUOTE=Poindexter,Aug 25 2006, 11:38 AM] We have not sold a single Cayman to anyone who considered the Boxster.

Wow, nearly all the performance of a Cayman S w/ a droptop and a significantly cheaper pricetag to boot! This is my new reasonably attainable dream car (though I'm so happy w/ the S2000 after 5 1/2 years of ownership that I have no plans to change cars anytime soon)
Me too after 5 years 10 months.

I'd like the additional power. I'd like the better handling that's been talked about for years. I could easily live with the shape, although I think the Boxster has come a long ways.

I'd just not any of that for the $45,000 cost of upgrading.

does the s2000 handle better with hardtop on?
I doubt that the 44 lbs of aluminum and glass or plastic that make up the S2000 OEM hardtop and attaches with four "clips" makes much rigidity difference.
