Boxter = Poor mans's Porsche
I suppose that would make the Z4 the poor man's Boxster, and the S2000 the poor man's Z4? Must be a bunch of broke-a$$e$ driving those S2000s around

I'd take the Cayman over the 911 given the price difference, and I'd pay MORE for the Boxster than I would for the butt-ugly 911 cab.

That's about the same thing as saying:

Spa/Rio = puddle of piss.

I don't think the Boxster is a poor man's Porsche...it's obviously a girl's Porsche.

Had to jump in with a classic line from the Sopranos a couple of years ago. One of AJ's friends is talking about his dad's Boxter and Ralphie says "kid a Boxter is a Porsche with panties!"

Seriously, it's a hell of a car. I'm actually tempted to jump up to a Cayman S or the BS.

Personally, I have NEVER been a fan of the 911. It reminds me of the VW Beetle too much. The Boxster was the first Porsche I really liked. The new BS is a great package. I really don't see the need for more power in a street car or wknd fun car.

Alas, I would actually consider trading in the NSX, if the Cayman S had the 355 hp motor option.

MDX,

you watch....the 355 will make it into the boxster lineup.

it will be THE roadster.....nothing will touch it.

give them time....

I take a Camyman over a Boxter, but I rather have an S2000 over a Boxter, just my thoughts.

Any particular reason WHY?
