2006 Z4M or 370z?

Money no object or I have the financial means, the BMW M coupe, and this is coming from the guy who's always on the other side of the BMW fence on these boards. I love the M coupe, love the way it looks insides and out, wish hey put the i6 turbo engine but the previous gen m3 motor does just fine. Rare to see a car of its price point to have a design with so much passion in it. Other cars are beautiful like the cayman, but the m coupe is just playing by its own rules yet still reconizably traditional. Note that I haven't mentioned a single thing about performance because for me, for this car, it doesn't need to be #1 on every comparo list to sway my vote.
But since the 60K maitenance on this car would render me eating ramen for a month or contribute to the credit mess, 370z will be my choice, and a happy one at that.

I've never driven the Z4M coupe but drove the normal one at the BMW event. I actually loved the normal one. I liked the profile and how I felt in the thing. I somehow think the all the dials and buttons on the 370Z are placed on top of my head. I really need to go check it out. It looks that way from the pics. I dont like cars that look like they swallow me or make me feel like I'm a baby sitting in a bathtub. I'm only 5'8 150lb too. You're making me want to give the Z4M a strong look. Damn it. I cant remember off the top of my head the last year they made them. 08 or 09?? I have a feeling it will be a special car in the long term like the horse-shoe //M's from the previous years. You never see those suckers.

A new Z4 Coupe just got the green light so I guess they're gonna give it another stab. BMW is planning on bumping the Z4 up the hierarchy(Z2 is comin!)

A new Z4 coupe just got the green light? Source please? There's absolutely no mention of this on ALL the Z4 forums.

The Z2 is still marching forward as well.

If you're talking about the Z4M Coupe, I'll take the Z4M coupe over the 370Z. But I'd prefer an '08, not '06.
I've read that the earlier model years had problems with gear grinding.
I don't think they fully fixed the issue, but had less issues with later models.
This was pretty big on their forum.
I almost bought one, ya know.
I don't know, I gotta test drive the 370Z before making the decision.
