Yeah I suppose but I feel like all the newbie questions/statements are on their.
Example, "I see a hole on my top." Or "what are the differenes bw ap1 and ap2?" or I just bought a new s2000!

I'm really thinking about buying the 06 guys. I like the little changes on the car, well minus the rims. I'm going through withdrwal, I miss my S like crazy. The G coupe is soo boring and the Land Rover, well.. thats the winter car. Anywho, do you guys really think that the 06 is THAT watered down? I like the MY04-05 the best and dont want the pre 03's cause I like the new cosmetic changes. But I just want the 06 bc of that laguna.

i dont see what the problem with traction control is. if you dont like it, turn it off. big deal.

I'd look for a used 02 or 03. They got a rear glass window, updated interior, better sound, 5 more rwhp (I just read somewhere on this forum), and you save a lot of money instead of buying a new one. The cosmetic changes on my04 aren't dramatic enough to make you feel like you're driving a different car. Oh and I forgot to mention the 9000 RPM Redline is to die for.

So what's the problem with stability control? I wish my '03 had it. Every car made should have it. Most cars that do you can turn it off if you wish. But, especially for the s2000's tail happy behavior, I think it needs it. If you are a great driver or at the track and want to turn it off then you have the option. If you are not, it can save your life.

Yes, the s2000 get's a little less extreme every year, but if the car came out like this in '00, then we would still love it. It's all relative.

The 06 will still be a great car, nothing really to complain about since you can turn of stability control. Drive-by-wire could be iffy, but I'm sure it will be close. Didn't notice lag in my old RSX (although I like throttle cable because I know the ECU isn't doing something it "thinks" it should do...it should do what i tell it to do).

[all of this has been discussed in S2000 talk before]

I should have bought an Accord as my '05 S2000 is nearly as watered down.

Everyone who wanted an "extreme" S2000 bought one. Now Honda is going after a softer market. I'd say that is good business sense.
