I didn't understand any of that. What is an LEV or ULEV?

They stole the headlights off a Mercury Sable! Overall a bit odd and complex for my taste.

LEV and ULEV have nothing to do with mileage. Chevy's full size SUV's are also LEVs. I imagine Toyota's equally thirsty large SUVs are at least LEVs (these days so many cars are).

I didn't say anything on mileage. He commented how putting "global warming" engines into cars known for economy was pointless, and I just replied to that by saying that Honda engines are always pretty clean burning.
