Default 2004 Acura TSX

I'm thinking about picking up a used 2004 Acura TSX as a daily driver. Does anyone on here own a TSX and have any insight as to pros/cons about MY04 or the TSX in general? I test drove the car last night and think that it will get me by for day to day use.

Thanks,

ryan

My brother had one. Nice car but a little torque-less down low especially with an automatic. If you drive small displacement honda engines it shouldn't bother you that much. My brother traded it in two weeks ago and bought a v-6 Accord coupe and says he is much happier.

I used to have a Fit for 9 months, so I think that I can handle the powerless car. Not to mention I'll hop in the S (and might boost it) when I need to have some more fun.

Was your brothers manual or auto? I actually felt that the auto felt faster and liked it better. The manual tranny wasn't as nice as I'd hoped.

hey dood.

we own an 05, not much difference between the 04 and 05's, just some small features here and there, but hardly enough to notice. its an auto, its my wifes DD, i love it. great around town power and its very well appointed. we get 24 or so around town, and 30-32 on the hwy. ours has 24k on it and its been typical honda that whole time. not one single problem.

hope that helps!

My sister has an '05. It's great as a daily driver, didn't have a single problem. The power is adequate. One thing I dont' like is the steering feel very vauge and harsh.

The 04 that I was looking at here in Las Vegas is auto with navi and all options. It only has 23k miles on it. I'd like to wait a month or two before I buy another car, so I guess if it's still for sale, I'll go back and buy it. Doubt it will be, but there's plenty of them out there.

my bro has an '05 auto with all options sans nav. He really likes it and finds it to be fun enough - decent handling (better than an accord), good power, good mpg. Overall a good utility car that he would rate as a "B" in all areas, except for reliability which is an "A".

I have an '04 with about 65k miles. It's a good all around car, gets decent mileage, good features, bulletproof, etc. I intend to drive it to about 150k.

The '04 models are power seat for the driver only, '05+ are power on both sides and have XM standard.

My g/f has an '06 Accord EX with the K24, that's also a nice car but the TSX is a lot more fun to drive IMO.
