Default 2003 Porsche Boxster S or 2004 Honda S2000?

I can afford both, have driven both extensively but still can't decide. Which would you choose if money wasn't a major big factor. Decisions, decisions...

I'm not a big fan of used cars. I would probably get the S2000, but it really depends what type of driver you are. If you are crawling around in stop and go traffic, and this is your everyday car the Porsche might be a better bet. If you like revving your car, and more of a race car like feel the S2000 then. The Boxster S is an outstanding all around car. I have driven it, and the mid engine design around the track was really great. The car was very neutral, and the steering, braking was as good as my 911, and the car just felt like it was pivoting from the middle of the car. The S2000 was a gas, but it seemed quite a bit more darty at the limit. Although I hear the 04's are a bit better in that department.

I like the Boxster S a lot, but $10K is still a lot of money.

Either way they're both nice.

BTW for $41K you can get an Elise

I'd get the S2000, a hard top, and two weeks at racing school for the cost of the Boxster.

There's a reason why Boxster sales are flagging.

If the Boxster were a couple of years older and the price difference were smaller, I'd choose the Boxster 'S'. As it stands, I'd choose the S2000 hands down. 10k is still too much of a premium.
