Nah, I doubt it. Honda is always been about high output from NA engines, I doubt they'll change their tradition. I heard that Chevy is putting out a turbo Cavalier too.

I have also heard rumors of a supercharged/turbocharged Cavalier that is supposed to make production around 04 or 05. Whatever it was, it was still weak compared to our car. I think I read it in Car & Driver....

I think that a turbo would be to Honda's advantage. The reason why did i say that is because most Honda owners Mod there cars and Honda knows that. It would be nice to have a Turbo S2000 for the factory Like Toyota Supra that had a NA and a Turbo addition with a warranty.

I'm surprised that none of the hardcore NA guys have assaulted this thread yet. I've argued for FI Factory Honda's before and had one guy here say that it was the stupidest post ever. Hmmm...huge performance gains for a small add'l cost . . . doesn't sound like a bad idea to me.

Sport Rider wrote something about Honda (motorcycles) way back . . . "I can appreciate it for what it IS (high tech), but I'd rather want to own it for what it DOES!" Makes a lot of sense. A lot of guys make a lot of noise about superior technology, but I suspect that most enthusiasts really care more about results than DOHC/SOHC/valves per cylinder, etc.--those are only things you mention after you've lost a race in order to make yourself feel better. I mean, who on this board was ever challenged at a stoplight by a bunch of engineers in lab coats looking for superior technology?

Well I remember reading somewhere that factory turbo cars are no longer allowed in Japan due to emmisions reasons so if this is true then they won't.(They never would anyways )
